It’s a family affair. Since the 1940s, the Bonomo family has been dealing in rare coins, jewelry, precious metals, artwork, antiques, and hard to find collectibles. In 1976 they expanded, beginning to offer estate settlements, jewelry repair and coin appraisal.
Now spanning four generations!
The modern day coin business has drastically change since the 1940's. The biggest changes were brought on by the internet. We started dealing on eBay back in 2001 and have now worked our way up to a Top Rated Power Seller. (eBay ID: rockvillecoin)
In 2008 we moved in at 118 West Ohio in Rockville. This was a special place since our Uncle Homer once had his music and coin shop in that very location until the 1960’s. He taught us the coin and music trade starting from right there.
In 2009 Rockville Coin and Collectables added a full service jewelry repair department to better serve our customers.
2014 was a special year, as we moved to our current location and expanded into a bigger area. Now we call 110 South Market St. home and have been happily servicing our hometown since.
Over seventy percent of sales are national, approximately two percent are international and the balance of sales are state and local.
We are not a huge expansive shop, rather an efficient small brick-and-mortar business with knowledgeable, honest, and friendly service.
If you want to buy, sell, or trade, Rockville Coin and Collectables is worth the stop.
Or feel free to to stop in and visit. Take a look around. We encouraged it all~!
